Tournament Type: Free-For-All (1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1)

a. Players must have a Mario Kart Central account to play in this tournament. To register for a Mario Kart Central account, please click here. Once you have an account, sign up for this tournament below on this page.
b. Free choice of tracks, vehicles, characters, and controllers.
c. All rounds will consist of normal items and 150cc. In rooms with 12 players, CPUs will be switched on. In rooms with less than 12 players, CPUs will be switched off.
d. Each round will consist of 8 races. Grand Finals will be 12 races.
e. Track repicks are -15 points to an individual’s score and tracks reset each round. Track repicks are defined as picking a track that has already been played in your room.
f. A player’s total score will be the total points they scored in the 8 races during their round.
g. Players who disconnect will receive points scored by their CPU added to their total score for any missed races.
h. Rooms prior to the finals are selected based on RNG.
i. In each round, players have 10 minutes to join the room after the start time. Failure to join the room within the allotted time will result in an automatic disqualification.
II. Registration & Disqualifications
a. Players must donate at least £3 to enter the tournament. 100% of donations are going towards the World Health Organization.
a.i. After donating, you may not receive a refund.
b. Players must play with the Switch FC they registered with for the tournament. If you need your friend code changed, please contact us before the tournament’s start time.
c. If any of the following applies to you, you may not participate in this tournament.
– Banned from Mario Kart Central
– Flagged on Mario Kart Central due to lag
d. Performing any of the following actions may lead to a disqualification:
– Using an alternate account in an attempt to deceive the tournament organizers
– Causing game-breaking lag (constant warping, causing the roulette to have massive lag, etc.)
– Hacking or exploiting the game in any shape or form
– Lap-trolling (staying more than a lap behind to receive power items and hit players)
– Co-operating with other players (in-game and/or with voice communication)
a. The room host must add all players 5 minutes before the round’s starting time announced by the organizers.
b. The host must open the room at the time posted by the organizers.
c. Room hosts are responsible for taking screenshots of every race and posting results in the New Leaf eSports Discord server.
d. If 3 or more players are missing from the results screen after a race, the race will not count and the room must be restarted.
e. If a host is found to be breaking hosting rules, they will be banned from hosting future tournaments.
f. If a player not intended to be in a room joins, any races played with that player will not count and the room must be restarted.
